Opening this week: 27 April – 3 May

CIT is busy this week with an exhibition opening at CIT Wandesford Quay Gallery on Wednesday, a week of lectures and performances during Darragh McLoughlin’s residency at CIT Cork School of Music and CCAD Third Year students are holding an auction on Friday at Amicus Restaurant to raise money for their exhibition at Cork airport in June. See the list below for all the details.

Staring today at CIT Bishopstown and CIT Cork School of Music, Darragh McLoughlin (Squarehead Productions) is bringing his innovative work The Whistle to CIT, April 27 – May 1 for a 5 day residency of talks, workshops and performance.

Dulce Domum

CIT Wandesford Quay Gallery presents Dulce Domum, a group exhibition by CCAD MA Art Therapy students. It is curated by Marie Brett and John McHarg. Sheelagh Broderick will officially open the exhibition on Wednesday 29 April at 1pm.

Me Daza, 2020 Gallery

The Spring/Summer exhibition Me Daza opens this week at 2020 Gallery, it runs from April 28 – June 13. It focuses on Cork’s gourmet food culture featuring work from a selection of gallery artists on a culinary theme.
